This course focuses on the challenges of being a team leader and how you can manage your team successfully so that they are highly motivated, perform to the best of their ability and deliver quality results to clients. It is intended that this course will deliver practical and concrete improvements in your knowledge of and skills in managing high performance teams.
This course forms part of the series of courses on Leading and Managing People and will help you to resolve these typical business problems:
- Lack of clarity as to the purpose and direction of your team as a whole and the role of each individual in the team.
- Little understanding of your impact as a leader on your team.
- Poor communication by you with the team members and between team members and colleagues in other practice areas.
- The different tensions that frequently occur between individuals in the team and how you can deal with them.
- The underperformance of some team members and how to ensure that your talented team members reach their full potential.
This course will give you the understanding and skills to get the most out of those that you work with, whatever the skills and experience of individual team members. It will provide you with the tools and techniques, as a team leader, to ensure that your team works better together and is highly motivated.
